Seminars and conventions

Elio welcomes discussion of his ideas and principles, and in addition to his meetings with students at the European School of Economics, travels all over the world for seminars and conferences to address aspiring young professionals, established businessmen, and visionary individuals seeking to enrich their lives, through self-knowledge and self-mastery.

In these conferences, he discusses the “invisible” relationship between the state of health and the integrity of the company and the physical condition and integrity of the founder. To be more specific: the longevity of a company derives from the integrity of its leader.

The principles and ideas of which Elio speaks are the results of long years of self-study and inner questioning. Their ultimate goal is to incite the inner transformation of a man as an individual and consequently, a timeless movement that no other revolution has ever been able to accomplish: the total elimination of war, poverty, disease, and death.

From his trailblazing contributions to the music industry to his visionary leadership in education, technology, and hospitality – Elio D’Anna is a uniquely versatile entrepreneur as well as an international best-selling author and captivating speaker, whose profound insights continue to inspire and transform the lives of millions.

D’Anna’s journey began as a talented musician and composer, pioneering the successful Italian progressive-rock scene of the 1960s and 70s with bands like Showmen and Osanna. After achieving international recognition and exploring new sonic landscapes with Uno and Nova, he returned to Italy and made his mark as a renowned producer, collaborating with artists like Zucchero and Renato Zero. His productions reshaped the landscape of 1980s Italian music, selling millions of albums.

D’Anna’s passion for creativity and excellence extended beyond music. In 1983 he purchased an 18th century mill, nestled at the foot of the lush green slopes of Forte dei Marmi, in Tuscany, and converted into an elegant 5-star Relais & Chateaux hotel. Il Bottaccio soon earned the highest industry accolades, including a coveted Michelin star, and under D’Anna’s leadership expanded into the international events industry, with prestigious venues in London and organizing events in global cities like New York, Madrid, and Istanbul. Over 40 years, the group’s growth solidified Bottaccio’s reputation as one of the world’s most exclusive event companies, catering to esteemed clients such as Armani, Gucci, Sony, Apple, the British Royal Family, and the President of the United States.

Driven by a vision to create a new form of education that caters to the individual rather than the masses, D’Anna founded the European School of Economics in 1994. With centers in Rome, Milan, Florence, Madrid, London, and New York, the European School of Economics stands today as one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the world, continuing to shape the lives of thousands of young individuals who go on to hold influential positions in business and industry. Throughout its history, the institution has had the privilege of hosting esteemed guest lecturers, including distinguished Nobel Prize laureates, prominent politicians, and renowned business figures – with notable names like Kenneth Galbraith, John Nash, Merton Miller, and Mikhail Gorbachev having graced the halls of the European School of Economics, among many other luminaries.

D’Anna’s Foundation and philanthropic initiatives play a crucial role in supporting scientific studies and technological research. Through generous donations of millions of euros in scholarships, deserving students are empowered to pursue their academic aspirations, contributing to innovation and advancement. But D’Anna’s personal commitment to fostering innovation goes beyond financial support. He actively engages in the development of ground-breaking technologies, collaborating with his students. His hands-on involvement has led to the successful launch of disruptive and award-winning ventures such as CamUp, revolutionizing social media; Evviva, an innovative e-commerce platform; and Veeso, a pioneering endeavor in virtual reality.

Today, Elio D’Anna is renowned as a captivating international lecturer and best-selling author, acclaimed for his books “The School for Gods” and “The Technology of the Dreamer.” He travels around the world, participating in seminars and conventions, engaging audiences with his inspiring message of the “individual revolution.”

D’Anna’s entrepreneurial endeavors and literary contributions have earned him widespread recognition and numerous accolades; leaving an indelible mark on those who encounter his profound ideas, and establishing him as one of the most fascinating figures of our era.

Elio is a brilliant speaker who expresses his educational philosophy in a unique way. His words encourage the listener to maintain a proactive attitude and to constantly strive for integrity and unity of being. The words Elio says during his meetings with world authorities, Nobel Prize winners, politicians, economists, professors, and students at forums and universities are notes played on a magic flute. Dreamers from all over the world listen to these words and hold them close like a guidebook to a great destination.

‘‘The hobby of humanity in the future will be a personal improvement, Universities and Schools will multiply to educate man, especially in economics and business, and everything from the pureness of the soul and the body, kindness, justice, loyalty, forgiveness, and gratitude. The values that have been neglected and must be nourished in this direction: values such as courage, sincerity, truth. Believing in ourselves, in our capabilities, and developing them to improve ourselves. Our system of values coincides with our economic destiny. This is true for an individual, for an organization, for a country, for a civilization. The richer our system of values, the richer our economy will be. This equation tells us that we can have only the riches that our values allow us to have.

One day all organizations, from the smallest businesses to the huge multinationals will have at their helm a philosopher of action, a pragmatic dreamer, a luminous visionary who has taken care of his own integrity, who knows how to believe in the impossible and make it concrete.

Until now all economic systems have dealt with survival, with people’s basic needs: food, shelter, clothing, and reproduction. The economics of Neanderthals and the economics of a modern complex society are essentially the same.

The new economics of the coming decades deals not anymore with survival or to keep people alive for a few decades, but with immortality. New technologies and resources are aimed at the indefinite extension of each human life. This is the beginning of a 21st Century Economics of Everlasting Life – an Economics of Timelessness which will proclaim Victory over time and over death.”  (Elio D’Anna)
